Guitar Hero

So, I was reading on the Wired News page that Guitar Hero is suspected in taking over the music lesson industry. Although this was just a speculation, and maybe wasn't completely serious, I really don't think that a plastic guitar with 5 buttons and a strumming control can make people better at a real guitar. There is so much more to playing guitar than that (unless you play new alternative rock in a drop d tuning with one finger).
