After posting my last blog, I was thinking that I should probably post a definition of what New Media is to me. Technically, New Media is the use of an old media in a different way. It could also be a different way to view content that is used in older media. . such as a different way to view a newspaper or magazine. One main characteristic of a New Media is that it is many to many. Older media are either one to one (person to person contact - mail), one to many (broadcast media), or many to one (such as feedback on ones ideas/work without ability to reply). New Media allows everybody to be an equal "user" and both give and receive in a "community of media."
