Computer-free Capstone

The idea behind my capstone is to have a visual narrative that branches. A way to represent this without a computer could be a book similar to that of a "Choose your own Adventure" book. One major difference, however, would be that the reader (or viewer) would need to make decisions based only on what he or she sees without any words to guide him or her. Once you advance to the next portion of the visual story, you can only go back by making "forward decisions," i.e. you cannot "turn the page" backwards and have what you see make sense.

Another idea is to have the story actually be a wall full of images. Each image would have different portions saturated while the rest would be unsaturated to indicate decisions. A line would be connecting the saturated portions of the image to another image on the wall, and you could follow the different branches of the story that way. This would be an interesting way to follow the story, but it would be a bit different from a computer based version because you could jump ahead and see other parts of the story without actually navigating yourself to those sections.
